What Is a Fine Art Print

What Is a Fine Art Print?

There are two main things which make a print a “fine art print." The first is the type of paper the art is printed on, and the second is the printer/ink used to print the art onto the paper. The paper used for these prints is acid-free. This is important, because it is the acid in regular photographic paper which causes photographs to discolor over time. Fine art print paper have a lifespan of over a hundred years and usually don't fade, crack, or turn yellow. Fine art prints are made with high-quality archival inks using a high-resolution, large format printer. These printers have a much broader color spectrum than standard printers. The resulting print will be much more accurate and true to the original image compared to a print from a standard printer.

My Hahnemühle Fine Art Prints

What Is a Fine Art Print

My Hahnemühle prints are stunning prints that can be made into wall art by putting them on display as framed prints (using metal frames or wood frames). These prints are great for anyone looking to upgrade the interior design of their home or work space. My original art (drawings and landscape photography) is displayed on high quality Hahnemühle paper, and is available in different print sizes. (Hahnemühle is known for their Photo Rag and Bright White print paper, in addition to others.) In addition to my original artwork (drawings and landscape photography) being displayed on high quality Hahnemühle paper, the images can also be displayed on canvas prints and metal prints (wall art). The canvas art and metal art can also be framed as well. These prints will look great on the walls of any room, and will add a modern look to the room of your choosing. If you are looking to upgrade your home decor, I hope you will be inspired to purchase my prints to decorate the walls of any room or shelf in your home or work space.
